Certified Life, Health, and Trauma-Informed Coach · Certified Narcissistic Abuse Practitioner

Hi, I'm Camelia Khalil

I'm certified through the Global Trauma Institute and the Health Coach Institute, with specialized training in trauma-informed coaching, narcissistic abuse recovery, personal growth, and holistic well-being.

I love working with people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. My hope is to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences, build resilience, and create change that lasts — at whatever pace feels right for you.

"Healing isn't linear, and it can't be rushed. It happens when someone finally feels safe enough to soften"

My Story

I come to this work through lived experience, not just training. I grew up across cultures and languages, in family systems shaped by survival, silence, and emotional restraint. Later, I went through narcissistic abuse myself. Much of what harmed me felt familiar, or was hard to even name. For years, I looked capable and high-functioning on the outside, while privately carrying emotional pain, self-doubt, and deep exhaustion. Like a lot of survivors, I learned early how to adapt and keep going — often at my own expense.

Over time, I noticed that trauma didn't just live in my thoughts — it lived in my body, my health, my nervous system, and how I saw my own worth. For years I tried to understand and “fix” each piece separately, and got frustrated by how little changed. What actually shifted things wasn't more insight — it was a different approach altogether. I realized my coping strategies weren't failures. They were intelligent responses to a long time under stress. Slowing down, listening to my body, and rebuilding a sense of safety inside myself changed how I related to myself, and what healing even meant.

My own journey taught me that healing isn't linear, and it can't be rushed. It happens when someone feels safe enough to soften. Healing and recovery are related but different — healing is putting yourself back together, recovery is rebuilding your life. This shapes how I work, especially with high-achieving people, parents, and those breaking cycles who are tired of living in survival mode.

Today, I'm a survivor, a life and health coach, and a trauma-informed practitioner — though I don't see myself as someone who hands you strength or answers. I walk alongside you, grounded in both lived experience and professional training, offering a steady, human presence. You don't have to do this alone anymore. Together, we build a space where you don't have to push or perform — where you can rediscover yourself at your own pace.

My Philosophy

My Philosophy

I lead with presence, not performance. We slow things down. I listen without rushing, fixing, or assuming, and we move at whatever pace feels safe for you.

I'm here as a steady presence, offering encouragement when you're tired of carrying everything alone. I help you remember the strength that's already yours, and I hold space for rest when that's all that's possible right now.

I support people navigating patriarchal systems and cultures, often from a position with less power or privilege. Your experience is held with context, never blame. I understand how harm can become normalized or hard to name when culture, family, and survival are all tangled together.

I work with the whole picture — the emotional, physical, relational, and practical layers together. Here, healing isn't broken into pieces or treated as a problem to solve — you're met as a whole person living in a real world. If you choose to explore diagnoses or medication, I see them as one of many possible supports for your recovery.

I meet your coping strategies with curiosity, not judgment. Whatever has helped you survive is treated with respect, not disapproval. When something no longer serves the life you want, we can gently work toward healthier alternatives together.

This is peer-to-peer, human-to-human work. I walk beside you, not ahead of you. Safety comes first — reconnection unfolds from there, quietly and at your own pace.

Who I Work With

Who I Work With

My approach tends to work well for people who recognize themselves in some of the following:

The Coaching Process

The Coaching Process

Free Discovery Call

We start with a 30 min complimentary call, a chance to get to know each other, talk about what's brought you here, and see if we're a good fit. No pressure, no obligation.

Coaching Sessions

Sessions are 60 minutes, held online over Zoom, in a confidential space that moves at whatever pace feels right for you. Every session is shaped around where you are and what you need.

Session Frequency

There's no one-size-fits-all schedule. Some people prefer weekly sessions, others fortnightly or monthly. Together, we'll find a rhythm that feels sustainable for you.

Healing rarely moves in a straight line. Some sessions focus on gaining clarity, others on working through something hard, building new habits, or noticing progress. Throughout, you're met with compassion, curiosity, and respect.
