What is Coaching ?

Coaching is a collaborative process that helps you gain clarity, deepen self-awareness, and create change that lasts. Rather than telling you what to do, it offers a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns. Together, we work to understand what's been holding you back, strengthen what already supports you, and help you move forward with more confidence and intention.

Who Coaching May Be Right For

This work may be a good fit if you're navigating life transitions or personal growth, and you're:
  • Adjusting to a new culture, or holding more than one cultural identity

  • Feeling stuck even when you understand the “why,” and wanting help turning insight into everyday change

  • Rebuilding self-trust while strengthening your boundaries

  • Gently questioning beliefs and old stories that no longer fit

  • Wanting sustainable habits and routines that support how you feel, physically and emotionally

  • Someone who appreciates steady accountability, at your own pace

It may also be a good fit if you're healing from harmful experiences ,
for example, you're:
  • Looking for a non-directive, identity-centered approach to healing

  • Navigating a relationship where control or emotional harm became normalized

  • Living with the effects of intergenerational trauma

  • Looking for healthier ways to respond to stress patterns like emotional eating, avoidance, or self-sabotage

  • Noticing chronic overwhelm, or a nervous system that rarely gets to rest

Working Alongside Other Professionals

Working Alongside Other Professionals

Coaching can work well alongside other kinds of support. If you're already working with a psychologist, therapist, psychiatrist, physician, or another healthcare provider, I'm glad to work alongside them as part of your wider support team, with your consent.

My goal is to add to the care you're already receiving, not replace it — so you have the most well-rounded support for what you need.

When Coaching May Not Be the Right Fit

When Coaching May Not Be the Right Fit

  • In a situation that needs emergency protection or intervention

  • Having thoughts of suicide, or feeling at risk of harming yourself

  • In the middle of active addiction that currently feels out of control

  • Engaging in self-injury

  • In a crisis that needs urgent, specialized care

This doesn't mean we can never work together. It means that right now, your safety and your nervous system deserve care from people with a different skill set than mine. I don't offer crisis intervention, but I can help you find the right support so you're not navigating this alone.

Once things feel steadier, you're welcome to revisit working together, whenever that feels right for you. Healing isn't a one-time doorway — it's a process, and timing matters.

Coaching VS Therapy

Coaching VS Therapy

Both therapy and coaching can support real change. In either space, you're invited to share your story, feel heard, and find new ways of relating to yourself and your life. The difference isn't in how much either one cares — it's in how the support is structured, and how healing takes shape.

Therapy is a clinical relationship. Therapists are trained to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions, and may draw on specific modalities or medication. For many people, therapy offers depth and long-term structure that can be deeply healing.

Coaching is peer-to-peer. I don't diagnose or prescribe. Instead, I offer education, presence, and practical support as we explore how your past shows up in your present. Together, we make sense of your patterns and coping strategies, and find a way forward that fits your real life — without pressure

Coaching is flexible and shaped around you, not a fixed framework. There's room for reflection, humor, and gentle practices — whenever they feel useful to you.

For many people, therapy and coaching work well together, each supporting a different part of the healing process. If therapy is where treatment and repair happen, coaching can be where you build companionship, integration, and a new way of living — step by step, and not alone
